Lead Music Programmer (Temporary) (Creative Design)

As a result, the majority of our staff are hybrid and work both from home and onsite. Our current hybrid approach requires staff to work onsite a minimum of two days each week, every Tuesday and one other day, to be determined by their business unit. Hybrid staff are also welcome to come in additional days each week or may be asked to come in on other days by their manager.
JOB OVERVIEW
• Manage playlists/music logs within the WCRB format, and ensuring shows and
presenters have everything they need in terms of supporting information around
those playlists.
• Manage the process of inputting songs into the playout system (MusicMaster).
Some examples of management may include running reports, clock changes,
playlist maintenance.
• Create and maintain a programming calendar document.
• Plan music content for specific station events – pledge events or notable calendar events like Christmas or New Year.
• Liaison with other GBH teams for station related events and pledge drives.
• Collaborate with station team members to train and develop new radio personnel
on systems related to music programs and systems.
• Act as a traffic liaison and merge in coordination with Operations Manager.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Must have MusicMaster experience
• Familiarity with classical music is required.
• Must be able to learn and use broadcast software.
• Possess a confident editorial judgement.
• Must be organized and have excellent planning skills.
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
