The role as Supply Planner New Brands drives excellence by ensuring a constant and complete supply to our global markets with products being produced and Quality-released in North America. Demands are thoroughly analyzed, net demands calculated and aligned with MOQs and Rough-Cut-Capacity of our Suppliers. Inventories are managed in a way to support timely availability of finished goods to the markets and at the same time avoid over-stocking and shelf-life infringements. A regular exchange of information and tracking of commonly agreed KPIs with our Suppliers are established and maintained.Essential duties & responsibilities
Core Supply Planning Duties: Translate 0-36 months demand forecast into a robust supply plan using a network of global Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs). Consider monthly MOQs and calculate monthly production/supply quantities.
Regular Supply Review: Establish and conduct a regular Supply Review process with our CMOs, align on changing business needs and priorities, articulating key recommendations to be reviewed in the S&OP process. Track and maintain commonly agreed KPIs such as Forecast Accuracy, Production Reliability, Q-Release-Times etc. Escalate topics in case needed.
Monthly Supply Plan: Create and regularly update a monthly supply plan for both alignment of production requirements on a tactical horizon with the CMO and internal outlook on availability or supply constraints.
Supplier Relationship: Act as local External Supplier Management partner for CMO contacts with regards to Supply Chain topics for a specified brand or group of brands. Establish a good relationship to our suppliers; ensure alignment of our needs with suppliers' possibilities; drive transparency and mutual information exchange.
Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory on central and local level in accordance with local regulatory requirements (for minimum stock range of coverage). Ensure continuous supply under avoidance of overstocking.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Track and drive supply chain metrics to drive performance improvement both within and across the supply chain along with participating in projects to optimise the existing supply chain and ensure that processes and parameters are reflecting the most efficient operating model for a specified brand or group of brands
Other duties as assigned. Contribute into the Supply Chain Operations team to ensure that local supply chain requirements are considered during the integration and launch phase of these assets and into stabilisation.
Job Related Qualifications & SkillsEducation:
University degree (Master/Bachelor) ideally in economy or logistics required.
Professional experience:
Relevant working experience in Supply Planning or Business Process Management within the pharma or logistics industry required
Experienced in using SAP Business Warehouse, Microsoft PowerBI, SAP Analytics Cloud required
Experienced in using SAP ECC required
Knowledge, skills & abilities
Sound analytical skills, accuracy, and a results-oriented approach to work required
Good sense of ownership, initiative and confident in dealing with different stakeholders required
Very strong communication skills in English preferred
German or another language would be beneficial.
Knowledge of methods
Knowledge regarding artwork and serialization
Know-How with regards to Production or Purchasing required
Experience in building up and challenging supply planning structures (systems, processes, etc.) required
Personal skills
Great communication and presentation skills preferred
Ability to work in cross-functional und international/multicultural teams required
Willingness and ability to work also independently and drive supply planning activities forward required
Willingness and availability to travel required
