National Distribution Leader (Finance)
The National Distribution Leader will lead Chubb's enterprise-wide, North America relationship with a select group of Global, National and Regional brokers. This role is part of the National Distribution Team that is part of Chubb's North America Field Operations teams. The National Distribution Leader acts as Chubb's Executive liaison that leads Chubb's enterprise-wide engagement and relationship management with a portfolio of Chubb's largest and most strategic trading partners. They will help support the business objectives of all North America Business Segments and drive our business strategies with their assigned brokers.
Key responsibilities include: Utilizing a deep understanding of each broker's organizational structure, business model, areas of specialization and key impact players at the national, regional and local levels to continually uncover areas of opportunity for Chubb. Responsible for developing and administering annual governance framework with leadership from trading partners to drive accountability and awareness of key corporate priorities. Utilize internal and broker- generated data to identify opportunities across all Underwriting Divisions and lines of business to drive profitable growth. Engage with appropriate field stakeholders to convert data insights into actionable business initiatives that produce positive business outcomes. Constructively influence individual transactions or issues and institute an effective account escalation process (prospects and renewals) that appropriately engages broker and field stakeholders. Elevate broker performance around key initiatives. Complete in-depth broker updates for Chubb's executives that provide both quantitative and qualitative information along with commentary on items driving/impacting results and Chubb's key opportunities. Actively monitor and manage all forms of Broker Compensation and assess their effectiveness based on broker performance. Manage performance metrics on a monthly basis to understand what is driving each broker's performance and to identify any issues or gaps that need to be addressed. Work closely with Chubb's Field Leadership team to help drive consistent corporate and field-level execution with assigned brokers across all Underwriting Divisions and Product Lines. Ensure that local and regional business plans for assigned trading partners support our overall national strategies and tactical plans; effectively utilize insights gained through broker interaction and joint travel with Chubb Field staff. Facilitate business planning sessions with each broker as needed on a national and regional basis, as well as the annual CIAB conference. Facilitate and plan these meetings with the North American Field team. Effectively communicate and provide updates to the Field on broker results with Chubb, initiatives, news, strategic changes, etc. with Field stakeholders via broker village pages and broker webcasts.
