Overview
Location: Hannibal, MO
Compensation: $38.07/hour
The prime objective of the A-Grade Mechanical Technician is to inspect, repair, replace, install, adjust, troubleshoot, rig and lift and maintain all plant mechanical equipment. This position supports a good standing in the community, sustainable operations, and adheres to and upholds all company policies, safety standards and federal / state regulations.
Roles & Responsibilities
Organization Structure:
The A-Grade Mechanical Technician reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. The A-Grade Mechanical Technician has no direct reports.
Tools & Equipment:
Mechanics tools including hammer, sledge, bars, drills, wrenches, pipe cutters, lubrication equipment, oil cans, grinder, compressors, vise, punches, burning equipment, chain falls, come-alongs, pipe threaders, hoists, man lift, pickup truck, etc.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs and maintain balance while stooping, kneeling and crouching. The employee frequently is required to climb ladders. The employee is frequently required to communicate orally and in writing. The employee will frequently be required to walk on wet and/or gravel covered surfaces that may be in artificially lit conditions. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally move up to 100 pounds. The employee will occasionally be required to exert up to 100 lbs. of force. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
