WHO YOU ARE
The Fulfillment Operator 1 is a skilled position that requires dexterity, physical ability, and coordination to keep up with the fast-paced order preparation area. Operators will audit, perform necessary data entry, ensuring the timely preparation, and final shipment of packages, to meet or exceed customer requirements.
WHERE YOU WILL WORK
Our distribution center is located in Carlisle, PA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate Box on Demand (BOD) machine for the creation of packing boxes
Pack and secure products for shipping to Ups/Fed Ex terminals, with attention to detail, and accuracy of packages shipped.
Demonstrate the understating of machine requirements, and be able to produce at productivity rates consistently to the standards within the department worked
Re-label / pack out products on demand according to bill of materials or rework instructions.
Assist with the unloading of foreign import containers as needed.
Demonstrate the understanding of all required paperwork to include, but not limited to, pick sheets, customer requirements, special instructions, communication boards, quality visuals.
Perform operator fundamentals including simple problem solving, identify and fix routine/repetitive problems, notify appropriate support person if unable to solve problem themselves.
Process customer orders through UPS/FedEx/USPS Solutions
Report quality and inventory variances to individual leads and/or supervisors
Maintain the facilities, equipment, tools and materials in a neat, clean, orderly fashion, adhering to all sanitation practices.
Follows all AMES/CDC safety policies and procedures, best practices, and OSHA regulations.
Assists and follows overall company in servicing the customer and meeting all required KPI's.
Operate efficiently in a team setting while communicating in a professional manner with all business associates
Assist in any other required operational functions and business dictates.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be able to complete simple math, to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Must be able to read and comprehend simple instruction

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
