Role/ Department: Business Process Consultant/Corporate Sustainability, Inclusion, and Social Impact (CSISI)
The CSISI Business Process Consultant (BPC) will be a member of the CSISI Governance, Controls, and Administrative Support team (CSISI GCA), which is responsible for governance and control oversight of the entire business unit. The role will be responsible for actions associated with departmental Programs with potential enterprise-wide impact. Programs involve delivery of critical strategic business capabilities or regulatory changes that impact multiple disciplines. The CSISI GCA team manages a suite of CSISI projects and programs to successful outcomes. This role is responsible for creating project plans and tracking key milestones, risks, and dependencies and will be a key coordinator to ensure implementation of strategic business capabilities and/or regulatory change.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
• Focus of role is on execution of programs initiated to deliver and maintain improved governance in support of the strategic direction of CSISI activities; and may include expansion of critical business capabilities or implementation of cross business unit disciplines.
• Responsible for the coordination and/or execution of key risk processes such as applicable RCE capabilities, data governance, regulatory change framework, departmental initiatives that may have enterprise-wide impact, and issue remediation activities.
• Maintain a listing of key departmental engagements, deadlines, and deliverables; tracked to completion.
• Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business and technology partners to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity with a focus on implementing criteria and standards for various engagements and the development of associated metrics.
• Communication of program objectives; risks; issues and overall status to multiple levels of the organization.
• Facilitation of cross discipline (business unit) coordination for decision making regarding scope; prioritization and issue resolution.
Skills/Qualifications:
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
• In-depth Functional; Technical and/or Industry Knowledge
• Highly flexible and adaptable to change
• Organizational skills are required to determine and document each Program's goals, structure, milestones, risks, and dependencies
• Leadership and teamwork skills are required to drive execution without direct reporting line responsibilities
Working Model: Hybrid (#LI-Hybrid)
We have a balanced hybrid working model to ensure you get the flexibility you need, and the successful candidate will spend their time between working in the office and working from home.
Salary Range:
$74,200 - 126,200 USD
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
