Your Role:
• Prepare and revise grading plans as directed by given criteria.
• Calculate cut/fill volumes and balance quantities as needed.
• Ensure X-REF files are reconciled and placed in the correct folder.
• Plot/print files for both review and final submittal, adhering to provided CTB and PC3 files.
• Ensure technical accuracy of drawings, layouts, details, material lists, and space allocation.
• Evaluate alternatives and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines and deliver quality results.
• Multi-task effectively across multiple projects.
• Apply design techniques, tools, and principles for technical plans, drawings, and models.
• Support renewable energy projects by integrating design knowledge with technical requirements.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of an Associate's Degree or 8 years' experience with an emphasis in civil drafting, computer-aided design, or a related field.
• Proficient in using AutoCAD/Civil 3D software (2018 and newer).
• Strong ability to visualize parts in 3D without computer assistance.
Technical Proficiency:
• Familiar with the following modules:
o Survey, Points, Surfaces, Design, Alignments, Profiles, Corridors, Sections, Pipe Network, Volume Calculations, Labeling, Analyzing, and Vehicle Tracking.
• Familiar with surveyors' provided files and coordinate systems.
• Knowledge of Data Shortcuts and file organization.
Skills and Attributes:
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Project).
• Strong and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from clients and stakeholders.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
