There is a place for you at Highland Rivers Behavioral Health!Highland Rivers Behavioral Health provides treatment and recovery services to individuals impacted by mental illness, substance use disorders and intellectual developmental disabilities.JOB SUMMARY:The Therapist will work in collaboration with a case manager and an assigned Accountability Court. The team will focus on assisting individuals with mental health and substance use needs to get the services needed so they can comply with the requirements of the court and avoid further legal issues. The Therapist will provide clinical services for individuals to reduce the impact of their mental health symptoms and/or substance use on their recovery.
DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:
Assesses immediate needs and assists individuals in identifying appropriate resources for additional assistance for meeting those needs.
Provide individual and group counseling as appropriate for individuals' treatment plans and complete all documentation per service guidelines and policy.
Works closely with the team case manager to manage a caseload of individuals in need of wraparound services.
Coordinates community follow up contacts with individuals post crisis.
Attends staffing/case meetings with team members as required.
Educates community partners programs and services available for individuals.
Attends community events to educate and make local citizens aware of the services provided.
