Chief of Staff to Chairman and CEO (Finance)
Location: Boston, MA
Primary Responsibilities: Working for the Chairman and CEO and Senior Advisor, the Chief of Staff will focus on the following deliverables:
• Manage flow of work (content and pace) coming in, through, and out of the office of the CEO
• Coordinate calendar management with the CEO's executive assistant, ensuring highest priority routines and commitments are scheduled and planned
• Set and as needed, dynamically reset client visit priorities and cadence
• Trip/travel planning: take input from others and plan schedule reflective of client, internal, and other stakeholder priorities and what is going on at that time in the CEO office
• Preparation for internal and external meetings including: Briefing materials, Key messages and Remarks/Speeches
• Working with Internal Communications and CHRO, maintain CEO Message Board and ensure internal and external comms messages are clear and on point • Set CEO internal communications/Town Hall cadence and determine overall messaging; work with Internal Communications to execute
• Serve as CEO's proxy in important external and community roles
• Develop relationships with key client and industry chiefs of staff and CEO offices
• Ensure follow-up and follow-through on key CEO priorities (e.g., clients, Board, communities, projects and initiatives, regulators, investor commitments)
• Support Senior Advisor in planning EC meeting agendas and follow-ups; planning of EC offsites in partnership with the head of Corporate Strategy; plan EVP and OG agendas in partnership with responsible executive
Key partners to the role : The Executive Committee, Strategy team, Client Impact team, CHRO, executive in charge of EVP/OG agenda setting
Qualifications:
• 8-12 years' work experience in strategy, program management, and/or client facing roles
• Demonstrated skills in problem assessment and resolution
• Strong analytical, written, and oral presentations skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities Information Classification: General Information Classification: General
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, including ability (and demonstrated experience) to build relationships and leverage resources across the company; demonstrated ability to network within and outside of the company
• Ability to manage highly confidential information
• Demonstrate deep understanding of corporate strategy and priorities
• Proven experience of executing initiatives on time with the desired outcome
• Ability to clearly articulate ideas to a variety of internal and external audiences
• Initiative-taking professional with the ability to work under ambiguity and pressure, manage multiple priorities, lead team efforts, and meet aggressive deadlines and goals
• Strong sense of accountability and commitment to get things done
• This rotational opportunity (2-4 years) is an excellent development role for a high potential internal MD or SV
Salary Range:
$225,000 - $337,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
