Field Manager (Austin-Dallas) (Project Management)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform service and warranty work in the field.Manage standard work for daily proficiency and effectiveness.Measure projects, process layouts, prepare orders, inspect installations and give information to Customer Service Representatives, Installers, Sales, and appropriate personnel.Overall responsibility for quality and cost-effective installations.Develop and maintain effective business relationships with building superintendents and installers.Build relationships in the field.Achieve monthly commitments in expense control.Participate in management staff meetings to communicate and receive information.Manage delivery schedule in coordination with the builder or general contractor to deliver products to job sites as needed.Support all sales efforts and help secure new business. Cover, assist, and train in other areas.Support efforts by all members of the Leedo Team to continuously improve departmental, location, and company performance.Drive to customer sites to manage the installation to completion.Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Adhere to Safety requirements on a job site.Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.Computer skills including Microsoft products, 2020, or other CAD experience a plus.Ability to use power tools to perform lite service work related to cabinetry.Must have the ability to effectively judge construction stages and schedule deliveries accordingly.Ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships with building superintendents and subcontractors.Ability to read project plans and drawings.Results oriented.Problem-solving skills.Ability to manage processes.Action-oriented.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly changing environment.
Education and/or Experience
Minimum of a high school diploma with a certificate from a technical or trade school related to the building materials industry, education beyond high school a plus. Minimumof 3 to 5 years of field experience i.e., cabinet installation, service, order entry and delivery schedules, and managing subcontractors.Cabinetry experience in the single-family space highly preferred but not required.Driving is a requirement for this position:
o A valid drivers license is required.
o Satisfactory completion of motor vehicle report.
o Role requires a truck or van to transport material to complete work.
o Moving materials from a warehouse to a job site is common.
