Associate/Assistant Professor - Translational Immunology (Finance)
The position requires a Ph.D. or an equivalent degree in a relevant field with significant academic or research experience. For applicants at the Associate Professor level, a strong record of scientific achievement and external funding is essential. Faculty members are expected to establish and maintain nationally competitive, externally funded research programs and contribute to both graduate and undergraduate teaching. The Department of Biology and Biochemistry provides state-of-the-art laboratory space within the Science and Engineering Research Center (SERC), access to advanced core facilities, and numerous opportunities for collaboration within the University of Houston and at nearby institutions, including the Texas Medical Center.
