The Employee Health Clinical Manager designs, implements, and evaluates patient care by coordinating, delegating and supervising the care of the health care team, including licensed nurses, nurse practitioners and other health professionals. Key responsibilities include developing and managing employee health programs, ensuring compliance with occupational health regulations, and overseeing workplace injury and exposure management. They coordinate immunization and wellness initiatives, manage post-offer pre-employment screenings, and facilitate return-to-work programs. Additionally, they collaborate with HR, infection control, and risk management teams to promote a safe work environment, monitor employee health trends, and address workplace exposure incidents to ensure a healthy and compliant workforce.Education: BSN; current licensure. Professional certification desired.

Experience: Three to five years of management experience.Communication and Relationship Building:

• Proficient in communication and technologies to address nursing, healthcare and organizational issues appropriate to diverse audiences.

• Participates in systems review to improve quality of patient care delivery and to critically evaluate and anticipate risks to patient safety with the aim of preventing patient care errors. Identifies and participates in performance improvement processes that provide outcome measurement.
• Communicates, educates and involves staff in quality improvement processes.
• Actively participates in patient satisfaction strategies and service recovery.
• Ensures that clinical policies and procedures are reviewed and updated in accordance with evidence-based practice.

• Demonstrates knowledge of internal and external disaster plans and fire drills.

• Provides visionary thinking and provides input in the staffing issues impacting the patient flow.
• Delegates tasks appropriately to health care personnel.
• Creates an environment that recognizes and values differences in staff, physicians, patients and communities.
• Ensures decision-making authority of staff is acknowledged and incorporated into patient care delivery.
