Production Team Lead (Manufacturing)
JOB SUMMARY
The Production Team Lead assists and supports team members in performing repetitive assembly operations to mass-produce commercial aircraft interior components such as galleys, closets, VCCs, overhead stowage bins, ceiling panels, sidewalls, etc. for commercial transport aircraft. Production Team Leads will be the prime assembler on a production team, however, will not have any supervisor authority.

Assist in running daily production meetings with operators reviewing the next/relevant topics Set a daily plan based on the schedule Review priorities (Daily &Weekly) with respect to production schedule completion dates Communicate regularly with other departments and leads Training of operators on:
5S and Safety (Ensure the team is aware of established safety practices. Ensure the production line is clean and organized. Kits and tools are properly stored to prevent any damage.)
Ensure work orders are stamped off when work is completed at each assigned step and before the monument advances to the next station Provide completed units to Quality or Next Department. If there are any NCs, they must be posted on the monument to ensure proper visibility Provide completed and stamped off work orders Rework units based on quality findings Improve process quality of the build process based on the Quality inspection findings (BIQ-Build in Quality) Serve as consultant, advisor, or SME (Subject Matter Expert) in the work area
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Education:
A two-year college (associates degree) or trade school degree is desired.
Experience:
A minimum of 1-3 years of direct experience.
