Field Technician (Finance)

Position Overview
Vancer is looking for a Resident Technician to perform field service and repairs on late model Caterpillar equipment retrofitted to railroad equipment. You'll work independently driving in a company provided service truck to the customer's place of operations Monday thru Friday, but you'll always have the support of the entire Vancer team. The Resident Technician will primarily work on electrical and hydraulic systems with some minor engine work. There will be a significant amount of training and job shadowing to get you ready for the challenge! We'll provide you with ongoing training and the latest technologies to be successful. There will be a significant amount of travel including some international travel, so you'll need a passport as well as a DOT medical card.
