What We Do:
The New York Fed is looking for an Organizational Effectiveness Specialist who will help us achieve our vision of anticipating, acting, and adapting in a fast-changing world to shape a better economy for all. To this end, you will use a variety of structured methodologies to diagnose, design, and deliver solutions for
the organization and our people. Working within our People & Engagement organization and reporting to the Head of Organizational Effectiveness, you will execute against our People Strategy and help advance our culture and people
practices. You'll identify and frame critical problems and collaborate inclusively, working with colleagues across the organization to achieve great outcomes. You would join a relatively new team that is focused on creating a fulfilling employee experience where our people see the value of their contributions, continuously grow, and feel that everyone belongs.
Your role as Organizational Effectiveness Specialist:
Contributes to the implementation of a wide variety of organizational development projects including in workforce planning, employee engagement, competency modeling, organizational design, career pathing, assessment, and/or future of work.
Uses a range of techniques to diagnose issues and co-create solutions with business leaders.
Helps navigate major organizational changes drawing from best practices in change management, strategy activation, or transformation.
Partners across HR teams to integrate people projects and practices across the employee lifecycle.
Takes ownership for producing high-quality work and takes responsibility for successes and misses in own work
Design and facilitates interventions that improve leaders and teams. Drives progress across projects, including managing major deliverables and milestones with limited oversight.
What we are looking for:
Passion for creating positive change and enduring solutions.
Strong background in organizational effectiveness/development, I/O psychology, talent management, or change management.
strong critical thinking with the ability to see systems holistically and “connect the dots” across a range of work streams.
Demonstrated willingness and ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.
Prior consulting experience in a client-interfacing role that involved developing custom proposals and deliverables.
Thorough with high attention to detail.
Excellent project management skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Salary Range: $135000 - 155000 / year
