Backfill Trackhoe Operator - Salt Lake County (Finance)
Overview
SUMMARY
Kilgore Companies, a Summit Materials LLC company, is looking for Trackhoe Operator in Salt Lake County.
In this position you will primarily be responsible for safely operating a trackhoe to excavate trenches, pull trench boxes, backfill, demo concrete and asphalt roadways, properly grade ponds and other excavations, and load materials in a variety of heavy construction operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate a trackhoe to excavate trenches, pull trench boxes, and grade in heavy construction operations.
- Maintain tools and equipment so that they are kept in good working order and are safe for use.
- Perform daily routine maintenance on the machine including lubrication and monitor needed repairs/service requirements.
- Operate other construction equipment as required.
- Perform a variety of general labor tasks as required for the job.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including equipment you operate.
- Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- 2-3 years previous experience operating a trackhoe required
