The Parts Specialist is responsible for picking parts requested by operations/fleet, receiving inventory requested via purchase order, and putting them away in the proper location. The Parts Specialist is responsible for parts distribution and inventory to ensure seamless processing of items requested and timely delivery to our customers.
What You Will Be Doing
Sort incoming parts and put them away in designated storage locations in the warehouse or the outside storage areas.
Operates forklift.
Prepares and picks selected items requested by operations/fleet via transfer order and works closely with the material transfer team to assemble and build kits in the system, so they are readily available for picking in accordance with inventory requirements.
Ships picked orders to the customer via Badger preferred small package and freight carriers.
Dedicated to providing operations/fleet with superb customer service, always maintaining a positive, solution-focused, can-do attitude.
Communicates any material shortages to the procurement team for timely resolution.
Supports and participates in frequent cycle counts and annual inventory counts.
Works closely with operations, fleet, engineering, and supply chain personnel.
Carries out other duties and projects related to inventory as assigned.
Maintains parts and material storage areas to ensure a safe and orderly work environment.
What We Are Looking For
Highschool Diploma or GED.
Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
3-5 years experience in a parts department preferred.
Positive, customer-focused attitude.

Working knowledge of warehouse operations and safe packing methods.
Maintains organized distribution center according to policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Knowledge of inventory and shipping procedures.
Demonstrate good attendance and punctuality.
Able to adapt to the elements of work in the yard.
Ability to lift heavier objects (up to 50 lbs.).
