Research Associate III (Biotech)

We are seeking Research Associate III to join our team. This key member of the team will be responsible in designing and executing experiments to develop or optimize cell culture media and growth supplements for primary cells and cell lines.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and execute experiments to develop or optimize cell culture media and growth supplements for primary cells and cell lines. Prior experience with human T cells, NK cells and other primary cell types is preferred.
Maintain precise records and organize records of experiments. Analyze and report on data that are generated.
Utilize perfect aseptic technique and display expertise with handling primary cells and cell line.
Execute chemical characterization assays including solubility, pH, osmolality and others.
Design and execute analytical and cell culture-based functionality testing including cell growth assay for a variety of cell culture media.
Produce small scale media batches for internal testing, including formulating complete media from various recipe formats, converting from molarity to g/L and vice versa.
Troubleshoot experiment results for cells and media, raw materials, media formulation, product storage, and QC assays.
Maintain stocks of chemicals, reagents and supplies in the laboratory, ordering and tracking materials as required.
Key Requirements:
Master's degree in biology, Chemistry or related discipline. B.S. degree with 5 - 10 years of relevant industrial experience.
Significant knowledge of aseptic cell culture techniques, basic biology, chemistry, mathematical calculations, statistical analysis, technical writing, and laboratory equipment required.
Computer literate including, but not limited to, SAP and MS Office.
Strong written and oral communication skills are needed to be able to share data and conclusions with scientific peers and others around the company.

Is knowledgeable and complies with all pertinent safety policies, rules, and regulations.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a shared laboratory space and in an office cubical environment. Some exposure to potentially hazardous chemicals is possible. Occasional extended daily or weekend hours may be required.

The full-time base annual salary for this onsite position is expected to range is between $75,600.00 and $82,200.00. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the successful candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and job-related knowledge.
