Job Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)
Schedule: M-F and weekends as needed
The Occupational Therapist Assistant is responsible for assisting the Occupational Therapist by providing rehabilitative therapy to patients upon completion of the evaluation and plan of care following all regulatory and clinical practice requirements. This includes recovery, improvement in function and when possible, a return to a prior level of functioning. Clinical documentation will describe objective measures and justification for continued or discontinued services.
This position reports to the Director of Rehabilitation Services and is supervised by an Occupational Therapist.

Qualifications:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Knowledge of medical imaging, medical terminology, pediatrics, acute care, occupational health, physiology, and anatomy
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
