Revenue Cycle Manager, Cash (Finance)

SUMMARY

The Manager, Cash Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) manages teams responsible for all functions and issues related to posting of payments, deposit adjustments, correspondence, recoupments, as well as trend and report issues related payments, payment denials, and electronic remittance advice profile issues. Works directly with the RCM Director, and VP of RCM to ensure all responsibilities are in accordance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws, including metrics related to productivity and quality. Oversees team workflow, training, and verifying the accuracy of the department's work managing toward team goals and promoting a positive company culture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned.

• Ensures department goals and objectives are achieved, in alignment with U. S. Renal Care's Mission and Core Values.
• Responsible for the productivity, quality, and metrics for the Cash Reconciliation team and each of its functions.
• Maintain daily, weekly, monthly reporting of deposits and balance batches daily and ensure postings in all billing systems balance to finance at month end.
• Maintain daily, weekly, monthly reporting of reconciliation team productivity metrics.
• Manage worklist and workflow within Pearl billing system.
• Troubleshooting and retraining of staff to post insurance and personal payments.
• Preparing related reports to identify issues or trends related to all payment functions.
• Responsible for building a high performing team and positive work environment.
• Be actively engaged in the recruitment and hiring process.
• Implement department and organizational initiatives that may include any of the following; process improvements, technology enhancements, system conversions and/or integration.
• Understand and follow the USRC's company policies and procedures.
• Work on continual development of individual skills and behaviors that promote the U. S. Renal Care's way of management and the core values.
• Express clearly the communication between upper management and team members as well as address employee relations issues as applicable.
• Light travel required, 0 to 20%
• Participate in appropriate committees as needed.
• Upholds management goals of corporation by leading staff in team concepts and promoting a team effort.

• Maintains effective personnel management and employee relations, including evaluating the performance of all personnel; approving and submitting all hours worked and counseling and disciplining employees.
• Recruits, trains, develops, and supervises personnel in conjunction with team Supervisors.
• Actively promotes GUEST customer service standards; develop effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Effectively communicates expectations; accepts accountability and holds others accountable for performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required for the job.
