RESPONSIBILITIES Weighing, measuring, mixing, and prepping ingredients according to recipes.Completes hot meal preparation by steaming, grilling, broiling, baking, or frying, meats, chicken, vegetables, and other ingredients.Working environment is indoors / outdoors as needed.Working environments will be subject to varying degrees of summer heat during park schedule May to September.Checking food and ingredients for freshness.Attends to the detail and presentation of each order.Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures; maintains temperature logs as required.Follows appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation on all food items.Stores leftovers according to established standards.Works well under pressure and within time limits.Able to handle work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas.Completes cleaning according to daily and weekly schedules and dishwashing/pot washing as needed.Ensures smooth operations of kitchen services during absence of supervisor or lead.Assists with food & dry goods deliveries and completes restocking of stations, as needed.Serve food, beverages, or desserts to customers in a very fast-paced environment. Education / Experience High School diploma or equivalent preferredOral communication, adaptability, and decision makingGood working knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and health codes.High energy level, ability to multi-task REQUIRED Current California Food Handling cardApproved non-slip shoes Must be able to work in high temperatures (up to 105 plus) for long periods while staying hydrated and following safety requirements. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, stoop, bend, reach, kneel to store product and food storage and to perform cleaning duties. Stand long periods of time. Pay based on experience. Salary Range $
