Johnsonville, LLCLearning & Development CoordinatorWatertown, WIPosition Overview: As a creative, passionate, and experienced learning and development professional who will support others in developing their God-given talents. In this role, you will lead the training, onboarding and development programs at the Watertown Facility. You will also build, motivate and guide a team of learning and development specialists who will develop and at times deliver technical training content to our manufacturing members. Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary liaison between global learning and facility leadership teams, ensuring strategic alignment and implementation of enterprise-wide learning initiatives at the plant level.
Collaborate with OD&L, operations leaders, and members to develop technical training strategies and programs.
Lead the deployment of the organizational learning and development strategy within your facility, ensuring alignment with overall goals and facility-level performance metrics.
Provide guidance on the assessment of training and development needs, design of training and development delivery methods, and measurement of training effectiveness.
Coach and mentor a team of learning and development specialists who will take ownership for executing a high-quality orientation, onboarding, and skills training for members of the facility.
Stay current on training industry trends, technology, and methods; challenge the status quo by identifying opportunities to improve.
Be a Johnsonville Way ambassador with the ability to develop Members, providing them with the right resources and programs at the right time.
Partner with facility leaders to identify and prioritize skills/behavior gaps impacting plant performance and coordinate training solutions to address these needs.
Support successful people changes through the application of change management.
Communicate data driven insights to the leadership team on status, changes and effectiveness of learning and development strategies.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Adult Learning, Education, Instructional Design or a related field is required.
Willing to consider members who are actively pursuing bachelor's degree
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in training and development, adult education, and/or human resources related field required
Minimum of 2 years of direct or indirect people management experience required
Experience using technology to enhance learning and learning experiences is preferred
Manufacturing experience is preferred
