Senior Inventory Coordinator (Finance)
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the Lead Senior Buyer Planner, the successful candidate will be responsible for inventory counting and control, product kit generation, documentation usage and generation, executing transactions within our ERP system, supporting physical inventory and cycle counting, and supporting shipping and receiving.
The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Perform physical inventory counts and cycle counts, and report shortages, overages and all inventory levels as required/requested.
• Perform product kit fulfillment and ensure continued operations and avoid shortages.
• Maintain ERP information, including all appropriate and allowed transactions and reports. Assist in the generation of documentation including product and component additions, deletions, and adjustments.
• Classify, label and stock all inventory for future use, which includes keeping accurate records of inventory levels and locations.
• Communicate to supervisor and appropriate personnel through the use of the ticket system and/or email of any problems which may be observed during the assembling or troubleshooting processes.
• Responsible for following and maintaining processes as well as assisting in the creation of processes which may not have yet been documented.
• Maintain compliance with AMETEK policies.
• Additional responsibilities as required.
Required knowledge and skills:
• Minimum 5 years' experience in stockroom operations and shipping and receiving
• Experience working in a fast-paced small-business environment
• Good verbal and written (English) communication skills
• Computer literate with office productivity applications and the usage of ERP system transactions, report, and queries
• Self-Motivated
• Ability to work in a team and independently as needed
