Inventory Control Clerk (Administrative)
Summary: The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for efficiently managing the availability of stock for production to maximize sales and maintain adequate levels of inventory.
Responsibilities:
* Complete scheduled Cycle Counting of inventory goods.
* Issue Details, Kitting, and Hardware to specified Work Orders.
* Compare physical count versus system count to ensure accuracy
* Maintain updated online SDS database.
* Enter all daily received shipments into ERP system.
* Assist in shipping department as needed.
* Maintains safe and clean work environment; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures
* Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
Qualifications:
* Must have a minimum of 2 years in similar role.
* Must have excellent verbal, written and listening skills and have the ability to provide written and verbal instructions and present information clearly
* Must exhibit professionalism when communicating with superiors and subordinates.
* Must demonstrate the ability to read, analyze, and follow work instructions, procedure manuals and blueprints.
* Must demonstrate the ability to understand and work with basic mathematical concepts
* Must be able to pass basic skills assessment for Microsoft Excel and also demonstrate basic skills with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
* Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
* Must have the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
* Must be able to capture and assimilate information quickly.
* Must be able to pay attention to detail.
