The Director of Product Management will report to the Senior Director of Product Management in the Digital Product Development Organization. This role will lead the product vision across a team of product managers and a sizable product portfolio, delivering key initiatives for our Health & Benefits / Wealth & Retirement business line and be a trusted peer across the business with engineering, design, sales, account management, customer support and executive management. The incumbent will be a strategic thinker, laser focused on developing solutions for a 3-year roadmap that delights our customers and consistently delivers value via revenue growth, improved member satisfaction, and simpler and superior product experiences.
Drives product vision and delivering for a dynamic Health & Benefits platform
Establish product and organizational success metrics (OKRs and KPIs) and regular reporting cadences to track and monitor progress toward company and department goals
Managing external vendor SOWs with clear objectives and delivery goals
Leading and developing a team of product managers
Drives product management maturity by promoting Agile best practices and improving organizational processes and workflows
Collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, product design, marketing, operations, sales, and executive leadership) to deliver high-quality products to clients and customers
Bringing the voice of the customer and data backed approach to defining, prioritizing, and executing product roadmap
Engaging internal stakeholders to understand business unit's needs, identify new growth opportunities, and ensure alignment with their objectives
Evaluating current vendors and driving the assessment and selection of new vendor partnership opportunities to enhance the product portfolio
Researching and keeping abreast of latest industry trends in retirement services industry and modern product management practices
Define strategy and service level agreements (SLAs) to align with overall Company and department initiatives
Identify market trends and determine opportunities to improve current processes
Be the ultimate market expert on assigned products for internal and external stakeholders
Attend key industry events, network with other industry experts, speak at conferences and oversee client ideation events
Cultivate relationships with clients, partners, and other departments to facilitate collaboration and achieve common goals
