The Program Director provides leadership and administration of the Bachelors of Social Work program, accredited by the Counsel on Social Work Education, an autonomous program within the Department of Behavioral Sciences on both the Bolivar and Springfield campuses. Duties include teaching undergraduate courses for the major, maintaining the accreditation of the program, setting program goals and objectives, providing oversight and development of curriculum and course offerings, course scheduling, budget development, student recruitment, and assessment of program objectives. The incumbent is expected to contribute to not only course instruction but also provide a high level of self-efficacy for students as they progress towards graduation. The incumbent is expected to integrate a Baptist and Christian worldview into their work in the classroom and within the department.
