Manager Quality Engineering SDET (Finance)
***This role is based at our corporate office in Memphis, TN***
What will I be doing?
Collaborate with business users and product owners to identify application and system requirements and translate them into detailed design and technical specifications. Provide leadership and guidance in the planning, development, and maintenance of the web services environment. Participate in Agile ceremonies and processes, contributing to product testing while providing technical expertise and guidance to both offshore and onsite automation and performance teams. Design and write automated scripts that run tests on software/apps in an Agile environment using suitable tools & technologies. Supervise a subordinate position.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in Quality Assurance/Testing, Software Development, or related occupation.
Requires experience with reviewing Business/Product requirements. Providing leadership and direction in planning, developing, maintaining, creating test strategies, and test plans. Planning and overseeing the use of the regression test bed. Driving the overall testing activities and representing the team with project stakeholders. Developing and enhancing the automation framework and related libraries. Writing Groovy code for handling assertions and customized report generation, deploying test build in Bamboo. Defect reporting, triaging, coordination with development and vendor for defect resolution, and planning project/delivery processes and testing methodologies. Planning, validating, and reporting on production release. Utilizing Kanban methodology, WebService automation tools - Ready API, Groovy scripting, Atlassian tools - Jira, Stash, Bamboo and Confluence, MySQL WorkBench, and SQL.
