Refrigeration Technician (Maintenance)

Seeking a Refrigeration Technician to join the Custom Apple Packers / Starr Ranch Growers refrigeration department. Competitive wage and benefits.

Required:

Safety-minded!
Able to maintenance refrigeration and controlled atmospheric equipment and maintain accurate written records of work performed
Read, write, speak English
Able to work in confined spaces
Be certifiable on a respirator and self-contained breathing apparatus
Knowledgeable in refrigeration components, cold storage, cold storage chemicals, controlled atmospheric equipment, and industrial electrical systems
Able to work up to seven (7) days per week
Able to respond to middle-of-the-night or weekend alarms

Preferred:
CARO certification
Prior refrigeration experience in apple storage

Compensation and benefits: $26-$33+ based on experience and demonstrated competencies. Medical, dental, vision, long term disability, elective life insurance, 401k, paid time off, holiday pay.
