Moves & Events Lead (Finance)

Description:

Under the general supervision of the supervisor, leads employees performing manual labor.

1. Coordinates work orders and schedules assignments of staff in assigned shops and areas, including university moves and events.

2. Coordinates and reviews work orders and assigns activities; performs inspections of work in progress and completed assignments.

3. Monitors level of trash in dumpsters and trash rooms campus wide to ensure that all trash room and dumpster sites are kept clean.

4. Monitors and maintains appropriate oil and gas levels in assigned vehicles.

5. Inspects, cleans, replaces, replenishes and secures tools and equipment.

6. Trains and leads other employees on safety procedures; verifies and approves daily log, work orders and time sheets.

7. Sweeps, scrubs and hoses down storage areas, beds of vehicles, floors, work sites, loading docks and equipment.

8. Moves, transports, arranges, assembles and disassembles furniture such as chairs, tables, podiums, platforms, scaffolding, tents, portable cans, signage, decorations, etc.

9. May serve on special task force during periods of emergency, such as floods, storms, hurricanes, etc.

10. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

MQ: Education: Requires ability to read, write, add, subtract and follow oral and/or basic written instructions as might normally be acquired through 9 to 11 years of formal schooling.

Experience: Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience. Certification/Licensing: Requires a valid Texas Driver's License.
