Overview
Location: Newberry Plant, Newberry, FL
Compensation: $30.52 to $35.90/hour depending on experience
This position supports a good standing in the community, sustainable operations, and adheres to and upholds all company policies, safety standards and federal / state regulations.
Roles & Responsibilities
• The first level inspector will work off a daily pm work order to inspect critically deemed equipment.•
• The inspector will perform first level running inspections on all other equipment (Frequency based on criticality) and stopped first level inspections when due.
• In addition to the first level inspections, the inspector will assist the specific inspectors with their responsibilities when needed and perform basic repairs requiring minimal time-on-tools.
• The first level Inspector interacts with production personnel regarding operating procedures & issues found which have an impact on equipment.
• The Inspector is to keep the specific inspector updated on equipment condition and is Knowledgeable in current safety regulations and guidelines and plays an active role in promotion of plant safety.
Skills, Ability, and Knowledge
• Support Plant Safety Program
• Support Plant Environmental Program
• Systematic first level inspections of all assigned plant equipment
• Non-systematic inspections (repetitive problems, validate work requests, daily incidents)
• Maintain first level PM packages in SAP (Keep updated, generate and complete first level pm work orders
• generate follow-up work properly with details required by planners)
• Help Maintain and Drive the PPM Program
• Assist Specific Inspectors as required.
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening which may include a physical, background check, and drug screen.
Experiences and Certifications:
• Certified Maintenance Technician (IMI Certification) preferred
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communications skills
• Proficient computer skills
