Dietician (Healthcare)

We are seeking a qualified Dietitian to join our team!

The Dietitian will be responsible for assessing residents' nutritional needs, creating individualized care plans, and collaborating with healthcare staff to ensure optimal dietary support. The role focuses on improving residents' health outcomes through proper nutrition, dietary interventions, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct nutritional assessments for new and existing residents.

• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on residents' medical conditions, dietary needs, and preferences.

• Monitor residents' progress and adjust nutritional plans as necessary.

• Provide guidance on special diets, including therapeutic and texture-modified diets.

• Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations related to dietary services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.

• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required.

• AK State licensure

• Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility.

• Strong knowledge of dietary guidelines, therapeutic diets, and regulatory standards (CMS, state regulations).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule:

Part-time, with flexibility based on facility needs.
